About In Good Company
Creating spaces where genuine human connection can happen naturally
Why We Exist
We exist because human connection is fundamental to who we are. In a world that often pulls us toward our screens and solitary routines, we believe in the irreplaceable value of gathering together, of sharing stories over coffee, laughing until our sides ache, and building the kinds of friendships that become the foundation of a meaningful life.
Every social gathering is an opportunity to step outside ourselves and into community. It's where acquaintances become friends, where ideas spark, and where we're reminded that we're part of something larger than our individual lives. These moments of connection, whether spontaneous conversations at an event or intentional time spent with loved ones create the threads that weave us together as human beings.
We exist to facilitate these connections, to create spaces where relationships can flourish naturally and authentically. Because at the end of the day, it's not the things we accumulate or the milestones we achieve that we remember most. It's the people we shared them with, the bonds we formed, and the sense of belonging we found in each other's company.

Who This Is For
Ages 40-65
Professionals and creatives who value meaningful connection and are ready to invest time in building genuine relationships.
Thoughtful Individuals
People who prefer depth over superficiality, quality conversations over small talk, and authentic moments over curated personas.
Open & Intentional
Those who are tired of dating apps and ready to try a more human approach to meeting people and forming connections.
The Problem & Our Solution
The Modern Dating Dilemma
Dating apps have turned connection into a transaction. Endless swiping creates decision fatigue. Conversations fade before they begin. First dates feel like job interviews. The pressure is high, the authenticity is low, and genuine connection gets lost in the noise.
People are tired of putting their best foot forward on a screen, only to feel disappointed when reality doesn't match expectations.
Our Approach
We bring people together in relaxed, hosted environments where connection happens naturally. No profiles to perfect. No pressure to impress. Just thoughtfully curated events designed to spark real conversation.
Every event is hosted by a professional who creates a welcoming atmosphere, introduces people organically, and ensures everyone feels comfortable being themselves.

Our Story

A Personal Journey
After years of watching friends struggle with dating apps and feeling disconnected myself, I realised something had to change.
The breaking point came at a coffee shop where I watched a dozen people sit alone, scrolling through their phones, while surrounded by potential friends and connections.
I started hosting small gatherings, simple coffee meetups, Putt Putt and the like. Last year I hosted a Valentines night, where the only rule was to be present. No phones or apps, no pressure, just conversation. The response was overwhelming. People were hungry for real connection; they just needed a space where it felt safe and natural.
In Good Company grew from those early gatherings.
Today, we're proud to create those same welcoming spaces for members who are ready to connect in a more meaningful way.
